Family holidays are all about spending precious quality time together which is why we aim to make your stay as stress free and enjoyable as possible.

Family holidays in Devon are especially fantastic! Enjoy all sorts of fun-filled outdoor activities - build sandcastles on the beach, walk through forests, discover stately homes and ancient castles.

There’s plenty to see and do nearby. Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve is a short drive, pleasant walk or one stop on the coast train. Take a boat trip to catch sight of marine wildlife.  Dawlish Country Park has 65 acres of public open space with wild countryside walks. Nearby Haldon Forest offers 3,500 acres of walks, lovely views, a go-ape and orienteering challenges.

Visit Shaldon where you can visit the smugglers cave and zoo. It’s also just a short drive to Pennywell Farm, Crealy Theme Park and Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary (which is free) and plenty of National Trust properties. Visit Powderham Castle which is lovely and also has children’s play area, farm and farm shop. Babbacombe Model Village and funicular are also just a short drive or train trip.
